We are very proud to have over 200 students and mentors participating in Team M3~Chicago Student MentorRun 2009. Students hail from Carver Military Academy, Foreman High School, Al Raby High School, Steinmetz High School, VOISE Academy, Juarez High School, Bowen High School, TEAM Englewood, and Rowe-Clark Math and Science Academy .
- Team M3 is a free program to student runners. To ensure there are no barriers for participation, the MGR Foundation covers all student costs including: all race entry fees, transportation, student gear, training, food and nutrition.
- Students are bussed from their schools each Saturday morning to the Chicago Lakefront where they train with the mentors and participate as a part of the lakefront running community.
- In addition to their Saturday run, two weekday trainings are held at the students’ school and students are encouraged to run on their own.
- Students must be 16 years old to run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. All Team M3 Student Runners, including those under the age of 16, train for and complete the the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon.
